There are now no puppies available. Black collar boy, whom we were calling Boris, is going to be headed to his new home, and start his new job, training to be a Service dog with Journey Together Service Dogs in the Oshkosh WI area. The plan is to pair him with an individual trainer in the Oshkosh Correctional Institution, where he will be trained and evaluated as a service dog. We are very happy to be working with Journey Together and look forward to watching the progress he will make. With a new home and new job, comes a new name. He will be registered as Brigadoons Sergeant Foxtrot Echo Papa, call name Sarge.
It is almost time for the girls to come back into a heat cycle and we are seriously thinking about another litter this fall. There were a number of inquiries on this litter that we could not accommodate, either due to a preference on gender or a temperament conflict, that we hope may still be interested. If you are, or may be in the future, fill out the questionnaire and we will put you on the contact list.
8/14/2021 Update: Now there is just one. Black collar boy is the only pup needing to find his forever home.
There are still a few puppies available from Astra’s litter. Check them out on the litter page here. If you are interested in being contacted regarding a puppy, fill out the questionnaire here. All the puppies’ aptitude tests are complete and results and videos are live on their individual pages that are linked to the litter page.

Meet Liberty. She is a performance bred Golden Retriever. Liberty, or Libby, has a red coat and a lean frame weighing in at about 50lbs. She is at home just about anywhere from the pheasant fields to the couch. Liberty is an accomplished hunter, holding an AKC Junior Hunting title, currently one pass in the HRC novice hunt test, and has many pheasant seasons under her collar, both here in Wisconsin and in Iowa. Liberty also likes to stretch her legs running agility for fun. Libby loves to work as a therapy/comfort dog, having logged many hours at a local Veteran’s home and the local University. She enjoys sucking up all the attention and pets while doing therapy dog work just about as much as she does making retrieves.
Liberty is also an accomplished mother, having now had three litters of puppies. In 2018, Liberty was spayed and has now entered her retirement.

Meet Luna. She is a perfomance bred Golden Retriever. Luna has a dark red, smooth coat and a very lean frame weighing in at about 38lbs currently. Luna has a very high drive and loves to run. One of the faster dogs we’ve seen, she has earned a nickname of “Rocket Dog”. She loves to retrieve and will run and swim for dummies and birds all day. Luna also is an attention hound, loving to cuddle and wrestle with her humans. Luna is an accomplished hunter in the pheasant fields in Wisconsin and Iowa. She has also passed one leg of an HRC novice hunt test. Luna’s speed and size makes her tough to keep up with in the agility ring. Luna also loves her therapy/comfort dog work. She and Liberty have logged numerous hours at the Chippewa Falls Veteran’s Home and at UW Eau Claire campus.
Luna earned her first invite to North American Diving Dogs (NADD) nationals in 2016 to compete in the Senior Level diving events.
June 24th, 2018. Luna has continued her NADD jumping career in the last two years. This weekend, while competing in Cambridge, MN, she completed her Senior Advanced Title by making 30 qualifying jumps in Senior division. This is a wonderful addition to her previous Senior title and her Master title. Now we need to begin working on her Master Advanced. The Senior Advanced title earned Luna another invite to NADD Nationals in Orlando, FL.

This is Astra. She is a performance bred Golden Retriever. She is from Liberty’s third litter with MVP’s Hoops. She has a dark golden coat with a lean and athletic frame. She is still learning hunting, but she loves to Dock Jump. In 2016, Astra qualified for Eukanuba nationals at her first NADD trial in Junior class. While she didn’t place at nationals, she jumped well within her distance class and really enjoyed the Florida December weather. In 2018 Astra earned her NADD Senior Advanced title and was invited to NADD Nationals in Orlando, FL.
Astra made the trip to Iowa in 2018 chasing pheasants. She worked well and while not having much experience or training, she made a couple of nice retrieves and loved running the fields with Luna.
She likes to run and rough house with her sister Amber, but then will cuddle up on the couch with her humans.

Meet Amber. Amber is a daughter of Liberty. She is a small sized, performance Golden. Amber is a natural born lover and loves to cuddle her humans. She has started training as a therapy dog and can’t wait to start her work.
Update: Amber has passed her Therapy Dogs International test and cannot wait to start her work.
Brigadoon All American Circus Star “Calliope or Cali”
Meet Cali, or Calliope. Cali is a puppy from the Luna and Dare litter from 2017. Cali has a lot of spunk, is very intelligent, plenty of drive and loves to retrieve and cuddle. She is a smaller golden, like her mom, but has a much more blonde colored coat.
We have a lot of hope for Cali. If we can get her to jump off the dock, we think she will be a dock jumper like her mom. She should be a fantastic bird dog and retriever. Also, as an attention hound, she will make for a great therapy dog too.
