Today it is official. Astra’s ultrasound showed multiple viable puppies. This is very good news.
We’d like to thank our friends at Riverview Animal Hospital for helping us out with the ultrasound today.
Estimated due date will be about Memorial Day weekend. Stay tuned for more updates, LOTS of pictures and videos to come.

June 2, 2021 - THEY'RE HERE!
Last night the puppies decided it was time make their entrance. The first one arrived about 10:30pm. The last one at about 2:15am. All ten, yes 10, puppies are out, hungry and squeaking up a storm. Five boys and five girls. Momma is doing great too.
Correction: apparently in the heat of the moment, and a little bleary eyed because of the time of night, we actually made a minor misidentification. We have 6 boys and 4 girls.

Couple updates today. Quick recount of the litter shows we misidentified one of the pups during that late night delivery. We have 4 girls and 6 boys.
Had their first trip to see the vet today. Big thanks to Dr Jeff and his crew at the Ark Animal Hospital for doing a wellness check on the pups and momma this morning. Everyone is doing great and Dr Jeff was happy with what he saw.

The pups keep getting bigger and bigger. We are starting to see a few eyes opening up now. It won’t be long now before they get their legs under them and start tearing around the whelping box. Two weeks down, six to go.
